Job summary

Nelson Worldwide, LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer II (PE) to join our Electrical Engineering team. The successful candidate will lead electrical design efforts for facility and infrastructure projects, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and secondary systems.

You will develop conceptual and detailed designs, perform calculations, studies, specifications, and reports, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• PE license in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Experience delivering facility electrical system design services.
• Ability to lead electrical design on small to moderate projects and guide entry-level engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design efforts for facility and infrastructure projects.
• Develop conceptual and detailed electrical designs, specifications, calculations, studies and reports.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams and support construction administration.
• Apply engineering principles, codes, and industry standards to deliver high-quality designs.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and designers on project tasks.
