Job summary
NELSON Worldwide, LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer II (PE) to join our Electrical Engineering team. You will lead electrical design efforts for facility and infrastructure projects, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and secondary systems.
You will develop concept and detailed designs, prepare specifications and calculations, and coordinate with diverse project teams. Under general supervision, you will apply codes and standards to deliver high-quality design
Qualifications
- PE license in Electrical Engineering is required.
- BS degree from ABET-accredited school.
- 5–10 years of building design experience in power, lighting, fire alarm, and secondary electrical systems.
- Experience with medium voltage design preferred.
- Experience with SKM/ETAP/Easypower preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design efforts on small to moderate projects.
- Develop conceptual and detailed designs for facilities and infrastructure.
- Prepare specifications, calculations, studies, and reports.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Support construction administration activities.
- Attend client meetings to discuss infrastructure needs.
