Job summary

Churchill, an investment-specialist affiliate of Nuveen, seeks a driven investment professional to underwrite opportunities across private equity financing. You will support memoranda, monitor portfolio performance, and build relationships with PE firms and sponsors.

The role requires a university degree, 2–4 years in capital markets, and strong modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint skills. You will work in a team-based, performance-driven environment across multiple U.S. markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 1–4 years of relevant experience in PE fund, hedge fund, investment bank, consulting or related capital markets.
• Capital markets structuring experience with a preference for private equity, mezzanine finance, leveraged loans, equity research, secondaries, or M&A.
• Demonstrated experience developing and using financial statement analysis and financial modeling.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and finance.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-starter who requires limited oversight in completing projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to underwrite investment opportunities.
• Assist in preparing memoranda and materials for investment recommendations and communication with internal constituents.
• Assist with monitoring performance of portfolio investments and communicate with private equity firms, management teams and clients.
• Develop and manage relationships with private equity firms and intermediaries to generate deal flow.
• Participate in due diligence meetings with sponsors and portfolio company executives.
