Churchill, an investment-specialist affiliate of Nuveen within TIAA, is seeking a professional to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to underwrite investment opportunities in private equity across PE/Mezzanine structures. The role supports investment recommendations and communicates with internal constituents.

Responsibilities include monitoring portfolio performance, developing sponsor relationships, and participating in due diligence meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 1-4 years of relevant experience in PE/hedge funds/investment banking/consulting.
• Capital markets structuring experience with private equity/ mezzanine/ leveraged loans/ equity research/ secondaries/ M&A background.
• Demonstrated experience with financial statement analysis and financial modelling.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and finance.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-starter with limited oversight on projects.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite investment opportunities across private equity joint ventures and similar structures.
• Assist in preparing memoranda and materials for investment recommendations and internal communications.
• Monitor performance of existing portfolio investments and engage with private equity firms, management teams and clients.
• Develop relationships with private equity firms and intermediaries to generate deal flow.
• Participate in due diligence meetings with sponsors and portfolio company executives.
