Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Senior Investment Professional - Private Equity Deal Analyst to support Private Equity investments within the Alternatives Platform. The role involves sourcing, underwriting, monitoring, forecasting, and reporting, with opportunities to lead projects and possibly a team.

You will collaborate with the Alternative Investments group and may work with Liquid Alternatives teams. A strong background in PE and quantitative/qualitative analysis is essential, along with leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or CFA preferred.
• Eight to twelve years of related investment experience.
• Proven ability to source, underwrite and monitor investments in Private Equity.

Responsibilities

• Covers mid-large, moderately complex accounts with significant judgement.
• Evaluates and recommends investment opportunities.
• Performs manager/fund reviews with base case and downside analysis.
• Prepares materials for legal documentation with counsel.
• Develops investment pipeline and sourcing opportunities.
• Manages relationships with current and prospective managers and service providers.
• Uses financial models to drive underwriting and portfolio management processes.
• Leads or supports development of new models and enhancements.
• May have people leadership responsibilities within the PE team.
