Job summary

A leading private equity fund administrator is looking for a Fund Accounting Director in New York City. In this role, you will oversee the accounting and administration for multiple investment sponsors, ensuring excellence in client service and operational integrity. Candidates should have over 7 years of fund accounting experience, with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage financial products. The position offers a competitive salary range of $135,000 to $190,000 along with a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of fund accounting experience, preferably in Private Equity.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience required.
• Advanced Mezzanine/Credit/Loan Origination investment experience preferred.
• Understanding of Partnership Agreements and Investment Agreements is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Direct accounting and fund administration for multiple investment sponsors.
• Review workpapers, financial statements, and investor allocations.
• Manage special projects as required.
• Lead and mentor a team of Staff Accountants.
