Job summary

Halff is seeking a Professional Civil Engineer (PE) to join our Land Development team as a Project Manager in McAllen, TX. Lead projects including light industrial, office/warehouse developments, and residential subdivisions, while mentoring engineers and coordinating with clients and subconsultants.

The role requires a Texas PE, 5+ years in land development/public works, and proficiency with Civil 3D. Excellent communication and leadership are essential for project success and growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil engineering experience in land development and public works/local infrastructure.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage scopes, budgets, schedules and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from planning through delivery with cross‑functional teams and subconsultants.
• Assist in development of project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Support proposals and RFQs and ensure QA/QC compliance.
• Mentor engineers and staff, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
