Job summary

Holz Motors, located in Hales Corners, WI, seeks a PDI Accessory Tech to prepare and deliver vehicles. You will install accessories, remove protective coverings, attach license plates, and assist with inventory and vehicle receiving.

The role requires local driving, the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and a DMV-acceptable driving record. ASE and OEM certifications are encouraged as part of ongoing training and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in a dealership or automotive service environment preferred.
• Clean and valid driver’s license.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with PDI of new and used vehicle deliveries (e.g., install floor mats, remove protective coverings, attach license plates).
• Drive and deliver vehicles locally following all traffic laws.
• May be asked to clean vehicles.
• Inventory vehicles as necessary.
• Assist transporters with receiving vehicles.
• Install accessories on vehicles, including electronic systems; may require programming.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

We are looking for a PDI Accessory Tech to prepare and deliver vehicles, install accessories (including electronic systems), remove protective coverings, place floor mats, attach license plates, and assist with inventory, and vehicle receiving. The role requires local driving and lifting materials up to 25 lbs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with PDI of new and used vehicle deliveries (pull protective plastic out of cars, put down floor mats, attach license plates, etc)
• Drive and deliver vehicles locally following all rules of the road
• May be asked to clean vehicles
• Inventory vehicles as necessary
• Assist transporters and trucking companies with receiving vehicles.
• Must be able to pick up material weighing 25 lbs or less.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• Install all accessories on vehicles including electronic accessories that may require programming of onboard computer as needed

Qualifications:

• OEM certifications are encouraged.
• ASE certifications are ideal
• Strong automotive background- experience in a dealership is preferred
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
• Must have clean & valid driver's license
