PD Pattern Maker# PD Pattern MakerHot JobPlant 1 Wood Working Plant - Lenoir, NC 28645## OverviewPosition TypeFull Time## Description**Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Make patterns and mock-up sample frames for New Product Development (NPD).* Develop samples as well as production pieces with high attention to detail* Produce high quality samples, built on time, using the best construction methods* Make improvement accommodations for current upholstery* Must be able to upholster, trim, complete skirt detail, make cutting patterns, and develop poly patterns* Assist in documenting spec sheets for parts and materials (springs, webbing, poly, etc.)* Generate products and services from inception to commercialization for customers* Work closely with manager to develop prototypes for products.## Qualifications**Requirements:*** High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality* Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills* Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines* Effective organizational, stress and time management skills* Results and deadline-oriented, ability to prioritize and multitask* Thrives in a changing and dynamic environment* Must be able to read details or CAD drawings.* Train associates on how to build new styles when going into production.* Ability to follow documented procedures and standards **Physical demands and abilities** * Prolonged periods of standing, bending, reaching* Able to lift 70 pounds, occasionally* Available to work weekends or overtime as needed* Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects* Ability to work independently with little supervision
