Product Development - CAD Technician# Product Development - CAD TechnicianCentury Classic Plant 12 - Conover, NC 28613## OverviewPosition TypeFull TimeJob ShiftDay## Description**Summary Job Description**This position is responsible for producing digital CAD drawings of fabric upholstery patterns.**Essential Duties*** Utilize various software applications formatting them as required to be utilized in nesting solutions for the automated cutting equipment* Works closely with the product development team* Must be detail oriented* Maintains a working knowledge of flow match cutting while ensuring all drawings maintained are of the latest revision.* Must have a full range of knowledge of the upholstery manufacturing process* Works with minimal supervision and able to meet deadlines* Overtime may be required at times* Must follow all safety policies and procedures* All other duties as assigned## Qualifications**Position Requirements*** Basic CAD experience required* Basic computer experience required* Minimum 5 years in upholstery manufacturing with an understanding of pattern making and product development**Physical Requirements**The physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
