Job summary

RHF is seeking an Upholstery Product Analyst & Coordinator to work with the Upholstery Product Line Manager and VP to develop new products and support launches throughout the product life cycle. This role collaborates with the Upholstery Plants, Product Development, IT/BIS, Accounting/Finance, Customer Service, and Sales and Marketing.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in interior or product/industrial design and has strong project coordination experience, with proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD

Qualifications

• BS degree in interior design or product/industrial design.
• Proven work experience in project coordination.
• Ability to present products to Sales trainings.
• Knowledge of current marketplace/product trends.
• Proficient in MS Office, with Excel and PowerPoint.
• AutoCAD or Rhino experience is a must.
• Ability to sketch and/or render new designs.
• Ability to analyze merchandising reports and survey results.
• Travel domestically and internationally.

Position Summary

The Upholstery Product Analyst & Coordinator will work closely with the Upholstery Product Line Manager and VP of Upholstery to develop new products and support the product launch and life cycle. This position will interact with the Upholstery Plants, Product Development, IT/BIS, Accounting/Finance, Customer Service, and Sales and Marketing, Creative / Showroom Divisions.

Position Details

• Organize and maintain materials and product development projects on the PDweb tool
• Coordinate the development of new upholstery products
• Prepare, revise, and present product ideas to the merchandising team
• Work closely with vendor to review models for accuracy
• Research lifestyle, demographics, and design trends
• Monitor costs and work within budget
• Partner with Marketing to create and proof marketing materials and support materials
• Liaise with suppliers and source materials
• Create and maintain relationships with customers and sales reps
• Act in alignment with the company’s overall culture, products, image, and target market
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office, with intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
• AutoCAD or Rhino experience is a must
• Ability to sketch and/or render new designs preferable
• Ability to analyze merchandising reports and survey results
• Ability to complete repetitive and detailed work for long periods
• Must be willing to travel domestically as well as internationally
