Job summary

Prysmian Group's Claremont fiber manufacturing plant is seeking a developing engineering leader to support optical fiber production. You will evaluate, troubleshoot, and drive process control and improvements in PCVD/APVD glass manufacturing, focusing on equipment performance and yield.

The role requires an ABET‑accredited engineering degree, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams to implement data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 1+ year in a complex manufacturing process.
• Ability to analyze processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor manufacturing processes to identify trends and apply solutions.
• Lead process area yields, documentation, and data tracking.
• Perform root cause analysis for trends and equipment issues.
• Support PCVD/APVD glass manufacturing processes and equipment uptime.
• Provide data explanations to engineers and operators to maintain stability.
