Job summary

Prysmian Group's Claremont fiber manufacturing plant seeks a Manufacturing Process Control Engineer to support the APVD/PCVD glass processes, monitor data, troubleshoot equipment, and drive continuous improvements across production lines.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform root-cause analysis, and develop performance indicators to ensure quality, uptime, and yields meet targets. A BS in Engineering and hands-on manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
1 year of experience in a complex manufacturing process or internship in manufacturing.
Ability to understand complex process flow and machinery.
Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and equipment improvement.
Experience with data-driven decision making and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Monitor manufacturing processes daily to identify trends and urgent issues.
Lead the process area for yields, documentation, procedures, and data tracking.
Develop weekly/monthly performance indicators to ensure targets.
Perform root cause analysis of trends, equipment issues and process drifts.
Support PCVD/APVD glass manufacturing processes focusing on uptime, quality, and efficiency.
Troubleshoot equipment with technicians and source parts for improvements.
Assist commissioning/startup of new equipment and provide training.
