Qualifications

• BS in Engineering from ABET-accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Ability to understand complex process flow and machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work within a chemical-based manufacturing process and understand relationships between process and equipment.
• Desire to become a subject matter expert in the assigned process area.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks for short- and long-term initiatives.
• Experience working with large data sets and making data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor manufacturing processes daily to identify trends and out-of-control situations and provide solutions.
• Lead the process area responsible for yields, documentation, procedures, tracking data, and technical innovation.
• Prioritize issues to impact process yields and productivity.
• Develop performance indicators to ensure quality and productivity targets.
• Perform root cause analysis on trends, equipment issues and process drifts.
• Support the PCVD/APVD glass manufacturing processes, focusing on equipment performance and uptime.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and work with technicians to improve machine performance.
• Write process documentation and update procedures.
