Job summary

Durham County Council is seeking an experienced PCV driver with knowledge of County Durham to join the Fleet Section and support adult day care, school transport and demand-responsive services. You will drive safely and provide excellent customer service while adhering to regulatory requirements.

The role requires a valid PCV licence and CPC, with pre-employment driving assessment and DBS disclosure checks.

Qualifications

• Current full Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) Licence.
• Current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).

Responsibilities

• Drive a range of passenger carrying vehicles safely and competently.
• Provide a reliable and punctual service with a high level of customer care.
• Attend and complete an in-house driving assessment as part of pre-employment checks.
