First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is hiring PCU Telemetry RNs for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Earn $56.25-$57.25 per hour with flexible 7a-7p or 7p-7a options and daily/weekly pay.

Choose shifts that fit your life, build a fuller schedule, and pick up as little as one shift per month. Active Virginia RN license and current BLS/ACLS are required, with supportive local staffing.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS.
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments

Skills

Active Virginia RN license

2+ years PCU nursing experience

Current AHA BLS

Current AHA ACLS

Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test

COVID-19 vaccination or exemption
