Job summary

First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Earn $56.25-$57.25/hour with the freedom to choose your schedule.

Shifts available include 7a-7p and 7p-7a. Active Virginia RN license and 2 years PCU experience required, plus BLS/ACLS and TB test within the past year. Vaccination or exemption accepted. Daily/weekly pay options available.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
• Additional facility-specific credentials may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and status changes.
• Administer medications and IV therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain timely electronic medical records.
• Follow infection-control and safety standards.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments.
