Job summary

Incredible Health in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PCU/Stepdown unit to care for medium to high acuity patients. You will administer medications, monitor vitals, and collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Shifts include day and night; roles available full-time, part-time, and per diem, with benefits such as 401(k) and tuition assistance. BiPAP/CPAP and other devices may be used, with EMR documentation and patient education

Qualifications

ADN or higher in nursing is required.
Active, unencumbered RN license is required.
At least 1 year of stepdown/progressive, neuro, cardiac, or similar high acuity experience preferred.
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
Strong hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills; EMR proficiency is expected.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients, monitoring vitals and IV drips.
Administer medications and execute complex treatment plans accurately and promptly.
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other clinicians to ensure optimal patient care.
Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions and use of BiPAP/CPAP and home oxygen equipment.
Maintain timely, accurate patient records in accordance with policies.
