Job summary

Incredible Health is actively hiring a Registered Nurse for the PCU/Stepdown unit in Somerville, NJ. The role involves caring for medium to high acuity patients, including those requiring BiPAP/CPAP and other respiratory support, with emphasis on timely medication administration and precise documentation.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN or higher, an active RN license, 1 year of relevant experience, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1 year of stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or similar high-acuity experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills; proficient in EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients with careful monitoring of vitals and IV drips.
• Administer medications and execute complex treatment plans per orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers and staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on managing acute or chronic conditions and use of BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen devices.
• Maintain accurate patient records complying with policies and regulations.
