Job summary

Incredible Health in Fresno, CA seeks a Registered Nurse for PCU / Stepdown to care for medium to high acuity patients, including post-cardiac interventions and specialized therapies.

Responsibilities include monitoring, medication administration, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Requires ADN or higher, RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. On-site shift options and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year of stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or similar high-acuity experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association.
• Strong hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients with close monitoring of vital signs and IV drips.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions and use of BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen equipment.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records per hospital policies.
