Indiana University Health is seeking an experienced PCU/Stepdown RN to join our dynamic team in Indiana. The role requires a minimum of one year in PCU/Stepdown, a current Indiana RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. You will assess patients, interpret rhythms, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure high-acuity care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of PCU/Stepdown RN experience.
• ASN or BSN required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required or obtainable within organizational timeframe.
• National specialty certification (PCCN/CCRN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough initial and ongoing patient assessments; identify changes in condition and escalate as needed.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, hemodynamics, respiratory status, labs, and other indicators.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, RT, pharmacy, case management, rehab, and other team members.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, discharge needs, and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Contribute to safety, teamwork, and service excellence.
