Job summary

Hire Consulting Services is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, on-site role in Great Falls, Montana. The PCU RN will deliver direct nursing care to stable or predictably unstable patients, manage post-PCI and related surgical cases, and monitor clinical conditions with telemetry and advanced equipment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Active, unrestricted Montana RN license (or immediate compact/endorsement eligibility).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or to be obtained within 6 months of hire). EPNC/TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients on a PCU/stepdown unit.
• Manage a diverse patient population including post-PCI care, pacemaker management, CHF, COPD, sepsis, and complex surgical cases.
• Monitor for deterioration and stabilize patients using telemetry, arterial/central lines, chest tubes, and IV support.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams from admission through discharge planning.
• Serve as floor clinical leader, precepting staff and guiding LPNs/CNAs.
