Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across the Hampton Roads area. You can pick up day or night shifts and receive daily or weekly pay, providing flexible scheduling and control over your work calendar.

This role requires an active Virginia RN license, PCU experience within the last four years, and compliance with vaccination policies; additional credentials may be required by hospitals.

Qualifications

• PCU nursing experience
• Active RN license in Virginia
• COVID-19 vaccination or exemption may be required

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in acute care hospital settings.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and other PCU equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Follow hospital policies and infection-control standards.
