First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. You can pick up shifts that fit your life, with options for daily or weekly pay and competitive per diem rates.

Active Virginia RN license and 2 years PCU experience are required, along with vaccination or approved exemption. You will provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital settings and collaborate with care teams.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment.

Responsabilités

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.
