First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital opportunities in the Hampton Roads area. Per diem allows you to pick shifts and build a flexible schedule.

Shifts include Day 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and Night 7:00 PM–7:00 AM. Competitive hourly pay: $56.25–$58.00. Active Virginia RN license with 2+ years PCU experience, BLS and ACLS, TB test within 12 months, and COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Formación

• Active Virginia RN License.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current BLS - American Heart Association (AHA).
• Current ACLS - American Heart Association (AHA).
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute care hospital setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and other specialized equipment required for PCU patients.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Adapt professionally to different hospital environments and unit needs.
