First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts throughout Hampton Roads, Virginia. You will work 7a-7p or 7p-7a, selecting shifts that fit your life and earning competitive per diem pay.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia.
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• AHA BLS Current.
• AHA ACLS Current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments.
