Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA invites experienced PCU RNs to join our per diem pool in Virginia. Pick your shifts—7a-7p or 7p-7a—and enjoy flexible scheduling, daily pay, and the option to work as little as one shift per month.

Candidates must hold a Virginia RN license, have 2 years PCU experience in the last 4 years, and maintain BLS/ACLS. QuantiFERON TB test within 12 months and vaccination or approved exemption are required.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience within past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care within acute-care hospital environments.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administer medications and IV therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain timely electronic medical records and infection-control standards.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
