First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is hiring PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Virginia. You can pick shifts that fit your life, including 7a-7p and 7p-7a options, with competitive per diem pay.
Requirements include Virginia RN license, 2 years PCU experience in past 4 years, BLS/ACLS, QuantiFERON-TB Gold within 12 months, and COVID-19 vaccination or exemption. Daily and weekly pay options are available.
Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN License.
- Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
- Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
- Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
- Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
- Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
- Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.
