Qualifications

• Virginia RN license required; 2 years PCU nursing experience in past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and status changes.
• Administer medications and IV therapies; carry out treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain accurate ED/EMR documentation.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families about care and discharge plans.
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments.
