Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Virginia. You choose shifts, including 7a-7p or 7p-7a, with the option to work as little as one shift per month and daily/weekly pay options.

We value RN license in Virginia, 2+ years PCU experience, BLS/ACLS, and current TB test with vaccination or approved exemption. Per diem pay is competitive and scheduling is mobile-friendly.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test current within 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital PCU settings.
• Monitor patient conditions and document changes accurately.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure safety.
• Maintain timely electronic medical records and infection control standards.
• Educate patients and families on discharge plans.
