First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is hiring experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Virginia. You can pick up shifts that fit your life, with options like 7a-7p and 7p-7a.

You'll provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospitals; duties include monitoring, meds, IV therapies, collaborating with care teams, and maintaining EMRs. Perks include daily/weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and local opportunities.

Qualificações

• Active Virginia RN license and PCU nursing experience.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS.
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.
