First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. You can choose your shifts with flexible scheduling, earning competitive per diem pay and options for daily or weekly pay.

Per diem work lets you build a personalized schedule around your life while delivering high-quality patient care. Shifts include 7a-7p and 7p-7a, with opportunities across Hampton Roads facilities.

Qualificações

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test completed.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.

Conhecimentos

Active Virginia RN License

2 years PCU nursing experience

AHA BLS Current

AHA ACLS Current

QuantiFERON-TB Gold test

COVID-19 vaccination
