Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. Take control of your schedule with 7a-7p and 7p-7a options; pick up shifts that fit your life.

You will provide high-quality patient care in acute-care settings, monitor patients, administer meds, and collaborate with care teams. This role offers flexible hours with daily/weekly pay and the freedom to shape a fuller or lighter schedule.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN License is required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care within acute-care hospital environments.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status; document changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.

Skills

PCU nursing experience

AHA BLS

AHA ACLS

COVID-19 vaccination or exemption

Education

Virginia RN License

2 years PCU experience within past 4 years

QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months
