First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is actively seeking PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia. You can choose 7a-7p or 7p-7a shifts and build a schedule that fits your life. Per diem pay is competitive, with daily and weekly pay options and easy mobile scheduling.

You may pick up as few as one shift per month or more to suit your needs, enjoying locally owned staffing support and hospital-based opportunities in a flexible, nurse-centric model.

Qualificações

• Active Virginia RN license.
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• AHA BLS current certification.
• AHA ACLS current certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments.

Virginia RN license

BLS Certified

ACLS Certified
