First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is hiring experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Shifts are 7a-7p and 7p-7a, with hourly pay of $56.25–$57.25. You choose the shifts that fit your life and can work as little as one shift per month.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing in past 4 years.
• Current BLS, ACLS through American Heart Association.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test results within past year.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status changes.
• Administer medications and IV therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain electronic medical records with accuracy.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments.

Skills

PCU nursing experience

BLS

ACLS

2 years PCU experience (last4 years)

Education

Virginia RN license

AHA BLS Certification

AHA ACLS Certification

QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within last 12 months)

COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
