First Choice Nurses is hiring PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia. You choose your own schedule and shifts, with per diem pay and daily/weekly payout options.

Active Virginia RN license and 2+ years of PCU experience are required, along with BLS/ACLS and TB testing in the past year. Vaccination or approved exemption is needed. Join FCN to gain flexibility while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN License.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS.
• Current AHA ACLS.
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment.

Responsabilités

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments
