First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. You’ll pick shifts that fit your life, with options for 7a-7p and 7p-7a schedules and daily or weekly pay. Competitive per diem pay and a focus on flexible scheduling are highlighted.

Active Virginia RN license and 2+ years PCU experience are required, along with BLS, ACLS, and TB testing within the past year. Vaccination or approved exemption is also required.

Formación

• Active Virginia RN License.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.
