First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. You pick shifts that fit your life, with the option for daily and weekly pay and flexible scheduling.

Shifts include 7a-7p and 7p-7a; active Virginia RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and recent PCU experience are required. Per diem work offers freedom and competitive pay in a locally owned staffing company.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license.
• 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• AHA BLS current.
• AHA ACLS current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments.
