Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts. You can pick shifts 7a-7p or 7p-7a and control your own schedule.

Per diem pay is competitive, with daily and weekly pay options and the freedom to work as little as one shift per month. Opportunities are hospital-based with a locally owned and operated staffing team that has served the area for over 15 years.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license (minimum).
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• AHA BLS Current.
• AHA ACLS Current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold tested within past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in PCU.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain timely electronic medical records and infection-control standards.
