First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Virginia, including Hampton Roads. You choose shifts that fit your life and have the option of daily or weekly pay. Per diem pay remains competitive, and there is no rigid weekly minimum.

Active Virginia RN license and 2 years PCU experience are required, along with BLS, ACLS, and TB screening within the past year. Vaccination or approved exemption is also expected.

Qualifikationen

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS.
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Aufgaben

• Assessing and monitoring patient conditions in PCU units.
• Documentation of patient status and interventions.
• Administering medications and IV therapies as ordered.
• Collaborating with physicians and care teams.
• Maintaining accurate electronic medical records and infection-control standards.
• Educating patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
