First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Virginia. Take control of your schedule with 7a-7p and 7p-7a options, pick up as few as one shift per month or build a fuller roster, and enjoy per diem pay with daily or weekly options.

Join FCN’s team and provide high-quality acute-care nursing, adaptable to different units, with requirements including Virginia RN license, BLS, ACLS, TB test within 12 months, and vaccination or approved

Qualifications

• Virginia RN License with 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.
