Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS required.
• EKG interpretation class preferred.
• PALS PCCN preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple duties in stressful situations.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in peer interviewing and review processes.
• Assesses patient health data and performs timely patient assessments.
• Ensures safe handoffs and documentation between caregivers.
• Adheres to unit standards and regulatory requirements.
• Engages in hourly rounding using AIDET to improve outcomes.
