Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy hospital setting. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to provide personalized care that aligns with nursing models and institutional standards.

You will assess patients on admission and each shift, perform procedures and medications, document care thoroughly, educate patients and families, and advocate for safe, effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required; multistate license acceptable with Florida license within 60 days of relocation
• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Nursing
• ACLS within 90 days of employment start date; BCLS within 30 days of employment start date
• No travel; no experience required

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, report changes promptly
• Perform procedures, monitor, document care and administer medications as ordered
• Provide responsive, compassionate care and promptly address patient requests
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans and medications, ensuring understanding
