Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital seeks a Progressive Care Registered Nurse (Neuro PCU) to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will perform pre- and post-operative nursing care and advocate for patients to ensure an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities include assessing patient status during shifts, following physician orders, documenting care, administering medications, and maintaining knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care. Florida RN license required.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or approved multistate license.
• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license after relocation.
• Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care in collaboration with medical providers.
• Advocate for patients to support a positive patient experience.
• Assess patient status on admission and each shift, report changes.
• Document care in the patient record and administer prescribed medications.
