Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is seeking a Progressive Care RN to coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical staff. You will advocate for patients and support an exceptional patient experience through pre- and post-operative nursing care.

The role emphasizes assessing changes, executing orders, documenting thoroughly, administering meds, and maintaining cardiac care knowledge in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse with RN license required; degree required either BSN or ADN.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and each shift, report changes.
• Perform procedures or functions per medical provider orders.
• Document care in the patient record promptly and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care, equipment, and procedures.
