UAB Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama is seeking a qualified Patient Care Technician to assist nurses by performing essential patient care tasks and accurate vital sign measurements. This role requires a high school diploma and CPR certification within 30 days of hire, with responsibilities including documentation and safety awareness.

To assume responsibility for certain technical aspects of patient care as directed by the RN/LPN for the hospital. To obtain and record vitals, weight, inputs and outputs. To successfully complete an in-house PCT training program. To demonstrate an awareness of patient and personal safety.
High School diploma or GED required. Certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within thirty (30) days of date of employment required.
