Job summary

CHRISTUS Health Beaumont, TX seeks a Patient Care Assistant to provide basic patient care under nursing supervision, ensuring safety and wellbeing. You will assist with activities of daily living and support the care team.Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and BLS certification; hospital experience preferred. Schedule is 7AM–7PM, full-time, at CHRISTUS Health facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answering patient calls and assisting with eating, bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility.
• Feeding patients and documenting food and liquid intake.
• Monitoring and reporting patients' vital signs to nurses or doctors.
• Assisting nurses or doctors with medical procedures and wound care.
