Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Longview, Texas is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff, ensuring patient safety, comfort and well-being during 7 PM – 7 AM shifts.

Responsibilities include answering calls, assisting with eating, bathing, dressing and mobility; feeding and recording intake; monitoring vital signs and reporting changes; and supporting nurses with procedures and wound care, all while upholding OneCHRISTUS competencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• BLS certification required.

• Feeds patients and measures/records their food and liquid intake.
• Monitors and documents temperature, blood pressure and other vital signs, reporting changes to nurses/doctors.
