Job summary

The role requires a ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering degree with 4+ years in design engineering, proficiency in Creo/Inventor, and experience with PLM systems. Travel up to 10% may be needed.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or ABET-accredited B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology with 4+ years in design engineering.
• Modeling/drafting experience in Creo (or equivalent 3D modeling software).
• Direct experience with PCP or DHP design and development; familiarity with API 11B or ISO 15136-1/2.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for PCP and DHP product lines.
• Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer requirements.
• Independently perform most design evaluation assignments.
• Review and approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
• Develop documentation related to design practices (layouts, specs, calculations, BoMs).
• Interface with cross-functional teams and external suppliers; coordinate external resources.
• Ensure quality, reliability, and cost targets; work in a global environment.
