Overview
Responsible for design and development of engine mounted cooling components.
Organization: LPSD’s Cooling Products
Responsibilities
Lead APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and CPPD (Concurrent Product and Process Development) activity to ensure cooling products are developed to meet time, cost, and quality requirements within budget.
Responsibilities include creating technical specifications, conducting DFMEA’S/ DVP&R and releasing the part.
Scope includes NPI, cost reduction, and current production.
CREO experience
Communicate with other engineering team members, GSND, suppliers, and customers.
Adhere to established standards, policies, and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, and ergonomics.
Some travel (less than 10%) to suppliers and Caterpillar manufacturing facilities is required.
Required Qualifications
B.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace or Agricultural Engineering with 5 years’ experience working in Component design and

Master’s in mechanical, Aerospace or Agricultural Engineering with 2 years’ experience in component design/validation.
Working knowledge of Teamcenter and APQP
